The perfect day in Seychelles: island hopping cruise with Boombastic

A small group of three of our guests spent a perfect day island hopping — it’s exactly moments like these that make us love the Seychelles.

The morning began on Mahé, from where we set course for Praslin. Our first stop was Anse Lazio, one of those beaches where time seems to slow down. White sand, crystal-clear water, and a feeling of complete escape from the rush of everyday life. Then we continued on to Curieuse Island, where we were greeted by its main residents — giant tortoises roaming freely across the island.

A relaxed walk, feeding the tortoises, and the warm ocean breeze — simple moments that stay with you for a long time.

Next, the route took us to La Digue. We switched to a buggy and headed to Anse Source d’Argent — a place recognized from photographs all over the world. Yet no photo can truly capture the feeling: granite boulders, soft light, and the calm of the ocean.

Our guests enjoyed local piña coladas, went for a swim, and simply allowed themselves to slow down and enjoy the moment.

On the way back, the day unexpectedly gained a touch of adrenaline — at the guests’ request, we put the boat to the test. Boombastic 2 confidently accelerated to nearly 90 km/h, adding an extra thrill of speed to the experience.

A little later, near the Marine Park, we stopped for some light fishing: a bit of catch, plenty of laughter, and that soft sunset light that makes the return especially beautiful.
