Popping and jigging in Seychelles: fishing with the experienced Boombastic team

While I'm traveling through South America, the team in Seychelles is already welcoming new guests and heading out into the ocean.

This time, some special guys have arrived — I've known some of them for over 10 years. This is one of those cases where the passion for fishing has long since transcended the realm of a hobby. True fanatics, trophy hunters, people who come for results and emotions.

Today the weather was ideal for popping, so the guys started their warm-up day with exactly that.

Toward the end, they switched to jigging exercises — more technical work, but in these conditions, it delivers consistent results.

In the end, it was a solid start: no rushing, with an understanding of the area, and a good foundation for the days ahead. Considering the level of the team, it's only going to get more interesting from here.
