First day of the Losi & Lososi fishing club tournament in Namibia
The first day of the tournament turned out to be a real test. Participants had to adapt not only to a new fishing method but also to challenging weather conditions.
Strong winds are kicking up surf waves, bringing with them a large amount of seaweed, which noticeably complicates the fishing process. However, the competitive spirit remains unchanged — the teams continue to fight, no matter what.
So far, only three out of six teams have managed to get on the scoreboard. Two of them are confidently tied with three points each, while another team is close behind with two points.
The largest catch so far is a spotted shark measuring 151 cm in length.
Today, the participants are changing locations. The weather conditions are expected to be more favorable, which means there is every chance for a more productive and eventful day of fishing.
