Trophy fishing in Seychelles: real stories and the best catches with Boombastic
Yesterday turned out to be a truly unique day!
A year ago, our good friend, known by the code name "Slava Excited," flew to the Seychelles to celebrate his birthday. At the time, he had one goal — to catch a good trophy. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from going out to sea for a long time, and Slava's vacation was drawing to a close.
But in pursuit of his goal, he didn't hesitate to postpone his flight home. And as it turned out, it was well worth it.
The decision proved fateful: in just one day, he managed to catch two magnificent sailfish, along with plenty of tuna, mahi-mahi, and wahoo.
Slava was more than pleased with the result.
Naturally, he decided to spend his next birthday with Boombastic again. And, as if following tradition, the weather once again threw a wrench in the plans — return flights had to be rebooked two days later.
On one of the days, Boombastic's head captain managed to take advantage of a brief break in the weather, and Slava, together with his friend, caught two beautiful marlin, a trophy GT (giant trevally), and a large number of tuna on the cast.
Such an exceptional fishing day left a lasting impression not only on our guests.
Fishing in the Seychelles has always been — and remains — one of the most thrilling in the world. And this is just the start of the season.
Welcome aboard Boombastic!
