Fishing with Guests from Sunny Cyprus. Recently, we had the pleasure of fishing with guests from sunny Cyprus. What caught our attention was that they all used light electric reels for jigging, and we were really curious to see what these ultra-modern setups were capable of! The weather wasn’t the sunniest, and the wind constantly set its own rules. However, that didn’t stop the team from having an amazing fishing experience.

Surprisingly, the gear held up well, even though it was often pushed to its limits. Despite this, we always recommend mechanical reels as the foundation and emphasize the importance of powerful equipment—because at any moment, a true monster of the deep can strike!
