Privacy Policy
This Boombastic Charters has been developed in order to provide information that relates specifically to the “Tour” application that you are currently completing. It is designed to assist and inform you of the measures that have been put into place to protect your personal data as you plan for your upcoming visit to the Seychelles. Definitions
Applicable Privacy Law
The relevant data protection and privacy laws, regulations (including GDPR) and other regulatory requirements.
GDPR
EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament regulating the processing by an individual, a company or an organisation, of personal data relating to individuals.
Personal Data
Any information relating to an identified or potentially identifiable living individual (data subject).
Privacy Authorities
The relevant supervisory authority with responsibility for privacy or data protection matters who supervises the application of the Applicable Privacy Law in the jurisdiction of the Seychelles government.
Process, Processing or Processed
Any operation or set of operations which is performed automatically or non-automatically upon Personal Data. It includes collecting, recording, organising, structuring, storing, adapting, altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing, making available, aligning, combining, restricting, erasing, and destroying Personal Data.
Controller
The natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of collecting and processing of personal data.
Processor
The natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Data Protection Act, 2002
The Seychelles Government (data controller) ensures that there are procedures in place that allow the travellers to exercise their rights. All rights of the traveller will be carried out without charge for the subjects.
Collecting information
The collection of information is authorised under the Public Health Act. When you apply for a Travel Authorisation, the information you provide is used to determine your identity, your eligibility to travel based on government-defined health and security criteria and to contact you if a close contact to a COVID-19 infected person is suspected. Only the personal data necessary to process your application are requested, collected, and processed. The supply of your information is voluntary, however if you do not supply the requested information, the travel authorisation application will be rejected, and you will not be allowed to board the aircraft or vessel.
Use of Information
The information you provide will be exclusively used to process your application for a Travel Authorisation (TA) in conformity with Seychelles’ public health initiatives designed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. A valid TA is mandatory for all passengers seeking to travel to Seychelles while mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and preventing other security risks.

Sharing Information
Except as explained below, the information collected by and maintained in the Travel Authorisation System in conjunction with the submission of your application for a Travel Authorisation will not be disclosed to any third party in a form that identifies the traveller, except to other components of Seychelles Government Systems legally authorised to receive it, and then only on a need-to-know basis. Your personal information is not shared with airport or airline staff; the check-in agent only sees those portions of the Travel Authorisation issued by The Republic of Seychelles.
Storage of Information
Any information collected from you and processed by the Government of the Seychelles and the processors it engages is protected in accordance with Seychelles and any applicable law. Information submitted by applicants through the TA Web site or mobile App is subject to the same strict privacy provisions and controls that have been established for similar traveller‘s screening programs by other countries.
The Seychelles Government keeps a record of the travellers’ data in accordance with its laws. All collected data is stored in a secure manner and no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. Furthermore, your personal data is stored in accordance with the retention period imposed by current regulations. This retention period depends on the purpose for which the data is being processed and takes into account regulations which impose a specific retention period for certain categories of data.
