Pre-New Year fishing adventures

The first day of fishing, as expected, was a "warm-up" session.

Strong winds prevented us from going far, so we spent the morning about 15 miles off Praslin. However, that didn’t stop us from catching jobfish, baby sharks, and snappers for dinner. Along the way, we admired the rocky islands, although the waves sometimes made us simply enjoy the views instead of fishing.

When we returned, the locals couldn't help but comment:
"Are you crazy? No one goes fishing in such strong winds!"
