An Unbelievable Catch: We Caught an Octopus

A quiet and beautiful morning with perfect weather, we headed out to sea with a wonderful family.

The plan was to start with pelagic fishing, look for something special, and then switch to jigging.

There was an abundance of fish on the surface, and birds were going crazy. The sea was calm like jelly, tuna were jumping everywhere, but they were biting reluctantly. We had to work some magic.

After catching a few yellowfin tunas, we switched to jigging, and suddenly, we caught... an octopus!

For the first time in my life, I witnessed an octopus being caught with a jig. The captain was also quite surprised; it was only the second time in his career!

In the end, the guests happily returned to their hotel with a beautiful snapper, and we took the octopus with us.
